This modern series of prints by Jason C. Otero & Emily Garcia-Otero explores the minimum threshold of visual meaning, the point where a shape tips into a symbol. Each piece pairs a simple color mass with spare linear elements, stripped to the fewest marks needed before recognition takes hold. A form becomes a tree, a figure, a shelter. Not because it describes one, but because we need it to.

We invite you to sit with that same instinct. Before you name what you see, notice the moment just before, when the form is still open, still becoming. That space belongs to you.
